APPROVAL AND ACCREDITATION
St. Mary’s School of Medicine was founded in 1998. The Government of Cook Islands Cabinet approved the St. Mary’s School of Medicine on April 28, 1998 to operate as an educational institution of higher learning offering nursing and medical programs.
The nursing and medical programs were subsequently granted accreditation and recognition by the Government of the Cook Islands Ministry of Health on July 28, 1998.
Note: - Confirmation of the approval and accreditation granted by the Government of the Cook Islands to the St. Mary’s School of Medicine nursing and medical education programs issued by the Government of the Cook Islands to FAIMER (Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research); CGFNS (Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools); and WES (Word Education Services).
